đUrbania CafĂ©, MedellĂn
Right after the tacos at Criminal Taqueria, I went to meet my friend for coffee. It was a short walk away from the taqueria. It was a warm, sunny, and pleasant walk when I got started though became a bit cloudy as I got to the coffee shop. I saw a ton of beautiful street art on the way.
Walking into the cafe, it was busy. One person behind the counter and one person working the tables. Most tables were occupied. All of the ones inside and practically all the tables outside. The outside was covered, thankfully.
They offered food but I only ordered coffee. A v60 pourover. They had two different coffee choices: Peace and Geisha. I ordered the peace coffee. This is their general-purpose espresso and coffee roast. They work with local farmers to grow these beans and roast the beans themselves. I got notes of chocolate and caramel. It's incredibly fresh, like most of the coffee I had on this trip.
Out of nowhere, the clouds darkened and the skies opened up. It was pouring. Still, our coffees were warm. A beautiful afternoon in paradise. After waiting out the rain, we go to dinner.
If you enjoy reading these as much as I enjoy sharing them, please consider buying me a coffee. I might just write about it. â Buy me a coffee.
